This beloved local tradition has been embraced faithfully by the people of South Florida, as families return year after year to experience the variety-style show we’ve all come to know and love. With talented artists, joyful performers, a dedicated team, and even St. Nick himself, Christmas Near The Beach continues to shine as one of South Florida’s most spectacular, family-friendly, and free Christmas celebrations!
Christmas Near The Beach began in 2007 with founders Deena and Mickey McDaniel, who dreamed of bringing back the joy of a “hometown Christmas show like days gone by.” What started at the bandshell on the beach quickly grew beyond the venue’s capacity, and soon found its permanent home at the beautiful ArtsPark in Downtown Hollywood.
Today, the tradition continues with new producer a local nonprofit Authentic Love Movement. “It was placed on our hearts to carry on this beautiful tradition and to bring holiday cheer to the Hollywood community and the surrounding areas.” Together, we all celebrate the WONDER of Christmas at South Florida’s Hometown Christmas Festival.
Free photos from St. Nick’s Beach House will be available on our website a few days after the event.
