WayFM is partnering with Lighthouse Christian School to be a part of our Tuition Savings Program! With this, you will receive a a one-year tuition voucher equivalent to $7,995 in tuition. You will pay a discounted tuition of $4,797.00! The tuition does not include any registration or curriculum fees. About LCS:
Lighthouse Christian School is a ministry of Lighthouse Baptist Church and was founded in 1979. The school consists of a Pre-School, Elementary and Middle/ High School. LCS is fully accredited by TACS and is primarily a college preparatory institution. All incoming students are placed on a track that will allow them to receive a diploma, which meets all state requirements for entrance into four-year college systems. LCS’s core pillars are Love, Honor, and Trust. Our goal is to partner with families in discipling their children to be Christlike leaders in their community.
Curriculum:
The primary curriculum publishers for LCS is Abeka Christian Curriculum, a distinctively Christian curriculum with an educational philosophy which supports strong thinking skills and biblical foundations. On-site tutoring, guidance counseling, and education services are available upon request. Students meeting specific academic requirements are allowed to participate in dual enrollment programs offered by Bryan College as well as MTSU.
Class Sizes:
Our class sizes are kept at small ratios, ranging from 15-20 students, ensuring that each student is able to receive individualized instruction throughout the year as they are discipled by our incredible staff.
Staff:
The LCS Instructional and Administrative Staff are a big part of what makes LCS so special! Our team has decades of experience in education as well as vocational training in various career fields. Many of our staff hold high degrees in education, including Master’s Degrees, Doctorates, and special certifications.
We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities that enhance our student’s educational and social experience here at Lighthouse, including but not limited to: Art, Music, Worship Arts, Chess, Theatre, Model U.N., Culinary Arts, Weightlifting/Fitness,etc.
Family Partnership
It is LCS’s firm conviction that proper training and instrucion first begins in the home. The home is the first institution of God, and it is here that the child first learns set patterns of behavior. It is in the home that the child learns a value system of right or wrong. Once a child is taught proper discipline and respect at home, they can then be ready to be formally educated and to develop the skills necessary to face life successfully. We hope to partner with families who value our core pillars of Love, Honor, and Trust as we aim to teach students to know and follow Christ.
Community:
Every class is encouraged to hold one community service project a year. The school participates in at least one larger service project for the community each school year.
We have multiple community events throughout the year to engage with our local neighborhood and enjoy times of food, fellowship, and fun! Our hope is to minister to our LCS community and others by our hospitality and service.
