On Friday, June 26th Southwest Florida's WAY-FM is giving you the opportunity to give back to the community. We are partnering St. Matthew's House and together we can make a difference right here in our own back yards. The mission of St. Matthew’s House is based on the principle, “to impact the lives of the least of these in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined.” St. Matthew’s House works to eliminate the elements of poverty at their base. Their homeless shelter and feeding ministry have opened their doors to countless lives without taking a day off in more than a quarter century. Through numerous programs, including the  Justin’s Place Recovery Program, their ministry is able to initiate a second chance at life for many facing their toughest times. With established faith-based principles and dedication St. Matthew's House has been able to see hundreds of individuals and families regain their independence.

on June 26th, Southwest Florida's WAY-FM Team will be volunteering at St. Matthew's House to help out with their Food Pantry, by serving food, and stocking their thrift store!
