16 Children And Their Bedrooms From Across The World.

Where you sleep says a lot about the world you live in.

Joy here, I think I need to look at these photos every single day when I wake up. What does your bedroom look like? Probably four walls, a bed, some pillows, and a closet filled with clothes. This is our world. It’s all we know. However, so much of the world would love even ONE of those things in the place where they lay down to sleep at night.

This week I spent time decorating my bedroom. Going to the store and buying things JUST to make my bedroom look the way I want it to! This article made me realize that so much of the world would love to have a true bedroom to lay down and rest in at night.

I think we all need the global perspective that we are blessed and we are RICH. Yes I said it. RICH.  I know you don’t feel that way. I don’t either! We all try to manage our money well. But figuring out how to spend and manage our money is a rich people problem. I’m slowly realizing that the things we get frustrated with every single day are mostly rich people problems that most of the world will never get a chance to even worry about.

I have been overseas. I have seen homes like the ones in this article and yet I so quickly forget what I’ve seen. I want to have a thankful heart and see the blessings all around me in the form of my bed and pillow. I also want to live out my faith by giving and proving for those around the world who have less.
