Join The Kids Cancer Foundation & South Florida's 88.1 WayFM for the "5K Walk/Run & Fall Festival", Saturday, October 17th from 8am-11am at Royal Palm Beach Commons Park in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Whether you’re ready to run, walk, or simply want to come out and enjoy the festivities, this family-friendly event is a great way to spend a fall morning while supporting children and families impacted by childhood cancer. The 5K welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels, so bring your family, invite your friends, and be part of a community coming together for an important cause. But wait, the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line!

Stick around for the Fall Festival, where attendees can enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with family-friendly activities, community connection, and plenty of fall fun! Come in costume and enjoy the family friendly vibe with plenty of games and Tables & Treats!  It’s a morning centered on hope, encouragement, and making a difference together. Royal Palm Beach Commons Park is located at 11600 Poinciana Blvd., Royal Palm Beach. THE 5K RUN/WALK IS IN LOVING MEMORY OF SEBASTIAN SARMIENTO:

Sebastian Sarmiento was a courageous 9 year old who bravely battled cancer and endured more in his brief life than any one person should. Despite all the hardship he faced during his battle with cancer, Sebastian never gave up hope and showed all those who were fortunate enough to know him the true meaning of courage. He truly was a warrior, and the Kids Cancer Foundation is honored to have this 5K race named in his memory. The family’s hope is that the funds generated by this race will help other families in our community who are facing the battle against childhood cancer and will help make their journey a little easier.

South Florida’s Uplifting 88.1 WayFM is grateful to be part of this special day, joining our community in honoring Sebastian’s memory and supporting families facing childhood cancer.
