Lord, I fix my eyes upon you. I know that whatever I focus on is what I'll move towards. So today I choose to make You my focal point; not the circumstances of life, not the desires of my flesh, not the hurricanes that rage around me. I strip off every distraction that can easily entangle and slow me down, and I will run the race you have set before me. I pray this in the name of Jesus, the author and the finisher of my faith.
