To help those affected by the tornadoes that struck several North Texas communities the day after Christmas, dozens of area churches are collecting food, clothing and other goods.

If you’d like to send money, city officials suggest giving to the American Red Cross by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or visiting their website.

The Salvation Army is also a great way to help. Call 1-800-SAL-ARMY or visit their DFW website.
