How Do We Respond to All This Violence? These Artists Point to Hope.

So much violence happened in the past week. What do we do now? You're not the only one looking for answers and trying to find the hope in situations that happened in Louisiana, Minnesota, and, now, Dallas. We don't have all the answers, but the way some of our WAY-FM artists are responding can help get our minds in the right place and let us know we're not alone.

Focus on what will win in the end.

The bitterest, coldest, cruelest hatred has no place here. True love will decimate the darkness.

Focus on the things we can do right now.

Don't let it break your spirit.

Easy to lose hope after the violence in #Dallas. @tenthavenorth reminds us where to find it.https://t.co/z28uHAjovc — The Wally Show (@wallyshow) July 8, 2016

As a son of a retired and respected police officer, who served and protected sacrificially for many years, my heart goes out to those officers in Dallas who were gunned down last night. They were there to secure a peaceful protest, to watch over many concerned Americans. Just as a vast majority of police are good, so are people. My spirit isn't broken by the violence because there is so much good in our world, but my heart's hurting. I'm mourning with you, Texas, and Louisiana, and Minnesota.
