Our Biblical Baddies

From: Betty RockRecently Wally asked on the show, “Which Bible villain do you most relate to?” Naturally, I took it too far by asking ChatGPT to pick a villain for each of us based off of what it already knows about us. The results? Let’s just say… it was both hilarious and a little too accurate.
Wally: King Nebuchadnezzar (aka: The Prideful Showman 🎩)

-
- Loves attention: King Neb built a 90-foot golden statue of himself — Wally’s been trying to do that metaphorically for years. ✨
- “Everyone, look at me!” energy: Demands everyone stop what they’re doing and listen when he’s talking… preferably with theme music playing in the background. 🎺
- Can’t handle being wrong: When people don’t agree with him, his inner “throw them in the fiery furnace” comes out. 🔥
- But here’s the twist: Deep down, Neb (and Wally) eventually realize they’re not the main character after all. (It just takes a few humbling moments...) 🌾
- Summary: King Neb and Wally both have major “I’m in charge—but also please like me” energy. Loud, dramatic, and somehow still endearing. 👑😂
Betty Rock: Pilot (Pontious Petty 👀)

-
- Master of avoidance: Pilate literally washed his hands of drama — same energy as you silently backing out when things get heated 🔥
- Conflict? Hard pass. He didn’t want to cause chaos… but somehow still ended up in the middle of it. (Perhaps Wally IS the problem... 😈)
- People-pleaser meets overthinker: Wanted everyone to be happy — the crowd, his boss, his conscience — and ended up stressed out anyway.
- That face: The signature “I’m so over this” eye roll while pretending to stay professional? Pilate invented it. 🙄
- Summary: A well-meaning leader stuck managing everyone else’s drama — while just trying to keep the peace and her hands clean. 🧴👑
Gavin: King Saul (aka: The Reluctant Extrovert 🙈)

-
- Shy energy: Saul hid among the luggage to avoid being crowned king — very “please don’t put me in charge” vibes. 🙅♂️
- Modest to a fault: Didn’t see himself as leadership material (relatable if you’ve ever tried to avoid hosting a meeting).
- People-pleaser problems: Tried to make everyone happy… which never works out well.
- Had his moments: Brave, loyal, and genuinely wanted to do the right thing — even if he second-guessed every decision. 🤔
- Summary: A good heart wrapped in a ball of self-doubt. Basically, if King Saul had access to modern therapy and coffee, he was Gavin. ☕👑
So what do you think - did it get us right or horribly wrong?
