Maybe, you are new to Florida and you haven’t registered to vote yet. Or perhaps, you just never got around to filling out the complicated paperwork.

Either way, it’s doesn’t take a lot of time and it isn’t very hard to register. The deadline to register is October 8th, so if you want to vote in this year's election make sure you register today!

Fill in the application online and print, or if you can fill it in by hand using a black ballpoint pen

Indicate whether this is a new registration, an update, or a request to replace your voter card, and confirm that you're a US citizen
Confirm that you haven't been convicted of a felony, or if you have been, that your voting rights have been restored
Confirm that you have not been judged mentally incapacitated with respect to voting, or if you have, that your right to vote has been restored
Provide your date of birth
Provide your Florida driver’s license or Florida ID card number. If you don't have one, provide the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.
If you don't have a Florida driver’s license, Florida ID card, or Social Security number, check the box
Provide your name and residential address
(If applicable) Provide your mailing address (if different)
(If applicable) Provide the address where you last registered to vote
Provide your former name (if it has changed); your gender; your state or country of birth; and telephone number (optional)
(Optional) Designate your political party affiliation and race/ethnicity
(If applicable) Indicate if you're an active duty uniformed services or merchant marine member; the spouse or dependent of an active duty uniformed services or merchant marine member; or a US citizen living outside the US
(If applicable) Complete if you’ll need assistance with voting or if you're interested in becoming a poll worker
Sign and date the application
If you've never voted in Florida, you must provide one of the following with your registration or when you vote:
1. Current photo ID
2. Current utility bill
3. Bank statement
4. Government check
5. Paycheck
6. Other government document showing your name and address

You can also submit the form to any County Supervisor of Elections, any Florida driver’s license office or tax collector’s office that issues driver’s licenses and/or Florida ID cards, any “voter registration agency” where you get services, any office that primarily serves persons with disabilities who need this a lot since as much as 70% of initial applications for disability benefits are denied, public libraries and of course military recruitment officers.
