What a Creepy TV Show Taught Zach About Grief

Posted 10 years ago - Jun 4, 2015

From: Wally
Samuel Cole, Zach's son, would have been two years old today. (He had Trisomy 18 and passed away a day and a half after birth.) Zach heard this quote from a creepy new show called The Whispers that he felt was a perfect description of dealing with grief:
Grief is a suitcase that sits at the bottom of your bed, and no matter what, without failure, you have to pick it up every day, take it with you. Some days it will be filled with rocks, and you don't think you can carry it, and then other days, light as a feather.

It lists 5 things to say and 5 things not to say to someone who lost their child.
