Mainstream, iconic artist, Prince, just released a new single. Why are we telling you this? Because it's actually an old song by Nichole Nordeman. Nichole wrote and sang the song, "What If" back in 2005. It was a big hit for her on Christian radio. Nichole says 5 years ago she got a call from Prince's management asking for rights to cover the song. She gave them permission and never heard back. She figured it had faded over time. Now, 5 years later, Prince released "What If" as his newest mainstream single. Turns out he heard it on the radio, then introduced it to his band. How cool is that?
