Wally Songs: Someday's Not Today

Story time: I went to a BBQ place in Blue Ridge, GA. It took over an hour to get served, even though people with larger groups came in, got their food, ate, and left before we were even served. It was such a bad experience, and when I finally decided to ask the owner what was going on, his comment was, “This ain’t McDonald’s. It takes time.” To say I almost blew a gasket is an understatement.

Mind you, this was at least five years ago, and this guy has lived rent-free in my head ever since. Recently, someone challenged me to write a song of forgiveness for the Blue Ridge BBQ guy, and I’ll be honest—this is as close as I could get.
